STAGE 10 CHEPSTOW CASTLE to CALDICOT CASTLE

Start near Chepstow Castle car park. Follow footpath to road and turn right. Just after brow of hill turn left into Kingsmark Lane and left again at the T-junction. Take the A48 towards Newport by turning right at the roundabout. Pass through Pwllmeyric past St Pierre Golf Club. Please make use of available footpaths on this section.

Just before the pavement disappears before going over the M4, take the sliproad to the right to Hayes Gate. OFFICIAL VEHICLES ONLY ON THIS SECTION. Take an immediate left and follow the lane all the way to Crick and left to the A48.  Turn right on to A48 very briefly, cross the road and take the left along the Crick Road down to the B4245.  Proceed along B4245 towards Caldicot.  At the roundabout continue straight ahead and finish on grass verge just past castle grounds entrance.
